Enhance any Feather card with precision motion and temperature detection with this all-in-one FeatherWing sensor. It is equipped with two fantastic Analog Devices sensors: a three-axis ADXL343 accelerometer and a precision temperature sensor ADT7410.
Both sensors are connected via the shared I2C bus, so you can use it with all Feathers cards! We also offer interrupt pins and address selection jumpers in case you want to have multiple featherwings or I2C address conflicts. We have the Arduino (C/C++++) and CircuitPython libraries available so you can use it with any Feather and get data readings in less than 5 minutes.
ADXL343 have three measuring axes, X Y Z. You can set the sensitivity level to +-2g, +-4g, +-8g or +-16g. The lower range gives more resolution for slow movements, the upper range is good for high-speed tracking. The ADXL343 is the newest and largest of the Analog Devices, known for its exceptional quality of MEMS devices.
The Analog Devices ADT7410 is an I2C temperature sensor, with a temperature resolution of 16 bits 0.0078°C and a temperature tolerance of 0.5°C. Can be used with any microcontroller to easily obtain reliable temperature readings.
ADT7410 Specifications :
Up to 16 bits of temperature resolution (0.0078°C by lsb), default 13 bits (0.0625°C by lsb).
Very precise temperature tolerances:
±0.5°C from -40°C to +105°C (2.7 V to 3.6 V)
±0.4°C from -40°C to +105°C (3.0 V)
The configurable I2C address allows up to four sensors on the I2C bus
