Description

This small DC motor in the body of a Micro Servo is an interesting engine: it is the same size and shape q' a micro servo, but this isn't a servo. It is more q "a simple motor continuous with gear plastic in a box." This isn't a great engine, but it will work perfectly to operate a small wheel of robot. It is also much cheaper than a micro servo (continuous or non-continuous) because there is no control inside card. The speed of command is performed by PWM on the supply wires, management control is done by reversing the polarity - as any motor continuous.

Operates from 4-6VDC, we fed him with a Lipoly battery and 3 alkaline or 4 NiMH batteries successfully. You can't control it directly from a microcontroller pin! You must have a H-bridge such as a L293D, TB6612 or a engine shieldone engine HAT or a motor DC + Stepper FeatherWing.

The engine is supplied with 2 x screws and 2 x nuts for mounting on a chassis. No brackets included - it is intended to mate with our wheels, there is a screw to attach once they are connected together.
