Secure your ave biometrics projects! This all-in-one optical fingerprint sensor will allow you to add a fingerprint reader and its verification very simply. These modules are usually used in safety equipment and they have a powerful DSP circuit that performs image processing, calculation, and search for features. Connect it to any system or microcontroller with a binding series TTL and send data to take a picture, detect the footprint, and search. You can also register new fingerprints for analysis, up to 162 digtales fingerprints can be stored in the internal flash memory. The sensor has a red LED that indicates taking picture of the footprint.

We particularly like this sensor, not only because it is is simple to use, but because it has a Windows application to test the module, you can add new footprint using this app and even view them on-screen. There is also an Arduino library for use in less than 10 minutes.
