So convenient, this small lipo charger is so small and easy to use that you can keep it on your desk or easily mount it in any project! Simply plug it via any MicroUSB cable into a USB port and a rechargeable 3.7V/4.2V lithium polymer or rechargeable lithium-ion battery into the JST socket on the other end. There are two LEDs - one red and one green. During charging, the red LED lights up. When the battery is fully charged and ready for use, the green LED lights up. Seriously, it couldn't be easier.
Use only with Adafruit LiPoly/LiIon batteries! Other batteries may have different voltages, chemistry, polarity or pinout. Lipo/Lipoly/LiIon batteries not included.
Charging is done in three steps: first a preconditioning charge, then a fast constant current charge and finally a constant voltage leakage charge to keep the battery level. The charging current is 100mA by default, so it works with any size of battery and USB port. If you wish, you can easily switch to 500mA mode by soldering the closed jumper at the front, to charge only batteries of 500mAh or more.
Comes assembled and tested with a free JST cable as a bonus!
