This purple aluminum frame makes it an excellent robot body. It is a single 2 mm thick bent aluminium piece with a variety of holes, slots and cut-outs for mounting cards, sensors and servos. The sides are designed to fit two'TT' type motors perfectly - you will need four M3 or 4-40 screws about 24mm/1.0" long to mount the motors. At the front, you can screw a ball castor. You can build a very robust (and quite beautiful!) little robot with this metal frame.
It is made of aluminium, so it is light and strong.
Anodizing is very attractive.
Can be used to build a 2 or 4 wheel robot.
Tons of mounting holes and slots!
You can drill and cut the aluminum so that it is easy to modify.
Will not crack or break if it falls down stairs (okay, it happens).
Remember, it's only the metal frame chassis! Motors, wheels, motor driver, microcontroller, etc. are not included!

Then you will also need a microcontroller and an engine driver that can drive the 5V DC motors. We recommend one of the following solutions
