The DS1307 is a real-time clock (RTC) series of low power, we find information binary ?-coded decimal (BCD) clock and calendar as well as 56 bytes of NV SRAM relief.
Address and data are transferred serially by a bidirectional I2C bus.
The function clock / calendar provides seconds information, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year. The end of the month date is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including corrections for leap year. The clock is in 24-hour or 12 hours with indicator AM / PM.
The DS1307 is equipped with a sensor that detects power failures and automatically switches to the backup power.
