If you are tired of the old potentiometers we have on you, why not slide and try this slide pot? Most commonly used on mixers and conveyor control panel on Star Trek, these sliding pots are not too long at only 75mm. Use it as a voltage divider and you can visually measure the voltage from low to high. Best of all, it comes with a button! These are equipped with a seized plastic button with a white marking strip.

Sold as a standard 10K ohm linear potentiometer, it works very well on beadboard and prototyping. You can weld on the 3 pins or push it on a seamless breadboard (or on a perf board with large holes).

It has a pleasant feeling, sliding it back and forth is very satisfying.
