More info
This screen is very small with a diagonal of 0.96", but it is very readable thanks to OLED technology with exceptional contrast. The display is composed of 128x64 pixels OLED blue on a black background, each one can be switched on independently thanks to the SSD1306 controller. As this screen produces its own light with each pixel, it does not require backlighting. This reduces total consumption while maintaining excellent contrast.
The SSD1306 controller allows dialogue in I2C or SPI. The display has its own 3.3V regulator and all signals are level adapted, allowing it to be compatible with 5V and 3.3V.
This board uses the 7-bit I2C address of 0x3C.
