A shock sensor type "TILT" allows to detect a shock. The sensor contains two contacts on which a small metal ball. If the sensor is positioned at the top, the metal ball makes an electrical connection between the two contacts, in case of shock or reversal, the contact is broken.
This module has an analog output ranging from 0V to 5V corresponding to the State of the sensor.
5V represents the rest position and 0V if there a shock or a variation in the angle of the sensor...
By connecting this module on the analog inputs of an Arduino kit, you can read values between 0 and 1023 corresponding directly to the module state.
Description of the module:
At the back of the module, you can find an amplifier of signal, a green LED that indicates that the module is correctly powered and a yellow LEDS whose brightness is representative of the rest of the sensor State (no shock).
This modules can be plugged directly on the TinkerKit Sensor shield using a TinkerKit connection cable.
This module is a SENSOR having a connector of OUTPUT to be connected on a ENTRY of the TinkerKit Sensor Shield.
