A linear potentiometer is a variable resistance can be changed using a cursor in line.
This module has an analog outputs ranging from 0V to 5V corresponding to the debpalcement of the curseurpresent on the sensor. 5V represents one end of the position and 0V the other.
By connecting this module on the analog inputs of an Arduino kit, you can directly read the values between 0 and 1023 corresponding to luminosity present on the module.
Description of the module:
The module has a potentimetre of 4, 7 k? and a signal amplifier and a green LED indicating that the unit is properly powered and a yellow LED whose intensity varies according to the value of the resistance of the potentiometer.
This modules can be plugged directly on the TinkerKit Sensor shield using connection cable.
This module is a SENSOR having a connector of OUTPUT to be connected on a ENTRY of the TinkerKit Sensor Shield.
