Description

With this kit, you'll see as it is easy to make a 8 X 16 for your Feather card LED matrix display. This kit is composed of two matrices of 8 x 8 LED color blancje and a driver in FeatherWIng format card. Each matrix is a dimension of 0.8 "side (about 2cm square) in doubling them it's altogether 128 LED to achieve your display.

This kit is has a dual matrix achicheur of 8 x 16 LED white color.

Normally, the wiring of a 8 x 16 LED matrix is expected to require 24 GPIO, which is huge. Heuresemnt the LED drivers on the map FeatherWing allows multiplex pines, with the HT16K33 controller that works in I2C with only 2 pins needed. It is easy to use thanks to a mobile Bookstore on all Feather maps.

This FeatherWing is also ideal for small animations or text scrolling.

The kit is composed of:

• 1 X Feather wing assembled and tested
• 2 X 8 x 8 white LED matrix high brightness
• 2 X 16 conecteur pines buck

A bit of welding is necessary to weld the matrices and the connectors, but this is quite simple (less than 15 minutes)
